1st class test
Man. No sooner the class start we have this 1st class test of 1 hour each. Of course i did not feel like scoring less this time so i did my studies and revision and wrote my exam with good enough marks. It satisfied me though.
The exams are of 34 marks later multiplied by 2.9, its the simpler way that is if u have a calculator. But if you don't, then multiply the result out of 34 by 3 and deduct 2 from the total. Pretty simple eh? Well, That's Aloysius, Neat and "simple".
Well, now lets get to the numbered facts. As a student from the arts stream, scoring 80% is quite an achievement. But i could manage only 73.6%. To be frank, the day before the exam starts, Mangalore city conducted World Jawa and Yesdi day celebrations on the 12th of July. So i had some time off and came back to the same routine.
1) History - 54 (to be frank) :)
2) Economics - 72 (thats cool with me though)
3) Geography - 76 (Not bad)
4) Political
Science - 92 (I'M THE MAN)
5) English - 77 (not enough) :(
6) Hindi - 68 (can improve a bit)
Well, thats it. as always. hope to find better marks in my report card next exam.

1st day in 2nd PU.
2nd PUC finally! a hectic year says some people. others say it is the time to work hard and enjoy the fruits later on. For me it has been both.
Anyway, I'm glad i'm in track and in 2nd year. things are gonna get different and difficult but everything has a catch. If i work hard and set goals now, then it would be better for me later on in life. So i prefer to work hard now so that i do not have to suffer later.
My first day in second PU was not bad at all. we had a new English and Hindi lecturer. Geez i miss the French class real bad cause of attendance shortage that i had. But anyway Hindi is also a good language. And the other lecturers were the same.
No classes were taken on that day. It was Tuesday the 2nd of June. Everything went along very well and no problems occurred at anytime of the day. I took lunch from home and this habit will continue till the end of the year. My mom cooks good food and something special always, food like frankies, sandwiches, ghee rice and Rice bath. In many ways it is always better to take lunch cause you'll be saving your lunch money and saves a lotta time indeed. In that much of time you may finish off any pending work and submit your notes or anything you wanna do.
Henceforth this year will be quite different from my last year in PU. Guess it will be worth the decision that i have made.

My 1st year days in arts stream...
Ah, Aloysius. The name holds a lot of gravity in student's minds these days. Its considered the best and most preferred college in Mangalore. It is a good college no doubt but the students need to fit in perfectly.
I had taken up my Aloysian career in Arts stream for the year 2008-2009. Had some problems in the begining. could not attend classes regularly. Hence loosing attendance. Later on for some months it went smoothly. Then the sociology ma'am started disliking me, trust me i dunno why!! She never used to let me into the class. Hence loosing even more attendance.
I had good attendance percentage in all the other subjects. But In the end, I lost my ability to write my examinations. But i never lost hope. after much difficulty and moving about i finally got the hall ticket. Finished off the exams and now I'm in @nd PUC.
